Ditch the Plastics
In honour of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, here are some key things for mommas to know:⠀
- Avoiding plastics isn’t only to save the environment. ⠀
- Avoiding plastics reduces toxins in the body such as endocrine disrupters- PVC, BPA, BPS and phthalates.
- These toxins increase risks of auto-immune disease, reproductive malformations in baby boys, developmental disorders, asthma, allergies, infertility, and.........cancers.⠀
⠀
Try to reduce plastics in your home environment as much as possible. Avoid reheating food in plastic containers and try to avoid water sitting in plastic water bottles for long periods of time. If you see any form of condensation in a cup- dump it out! ⠀
