Wondering how to protect your child from cancer causing beauty products?⠀

After countless hours of research, my perception is forever changed. I will never look at the beauty industry the same way. I will never smell perfume and think “that smells good”. Or “fresh”, fake scented “clean” cleaning supplies. I can’t help but now look at those shelves full of products as “cancer potions”.⠀

On a past trip my daughter received a makeup kit and lip gloss from @disney. For some reason I never thought to look at the ingredients until she happily used more than half of it on her face over the course of months. MY BAD.⠀

That makeup was loaded with numerous toxic chemicals including carcinogenic ingredients. 😔⠀
⠀
And then we wonder- why are more and more people developing cancer, why are cancer diagnosis younger and younger?⠀
⠀
And the crazy part: We are paying these companies to do this to us.⠀
⠀
So how do we protect our kids from beauty products full of cancer causing ingredients?⠀
We look at the ingredients. And if there are no ingredients- we pass!⠀
⠀
Why?⠀
(Because what we put ON or around our bodies, is what goes IN our bodies}⠀
⠀
Our bodies aren’t made for this. Our bodies don’t know how to process these toxins, detox them or utilize them. ⠀
⠀
I bag you to look at ingredients. Don’t buy cleaning products, beauty products or anything you’re investing in that has harmful consequences. ⠀
